Porcelain | Care Advice
Clean & Maintain
-Dampen a soft cloth with warm water and a small amount of mild dish soap. Gently wipe the piece to clean it.
-For stubborn stains only on unglazed or carved areas, a paste of baking soda and water can be gently rubbed on, then rinsed and dried.
-After washing, dry the jewellery completely with a soft cloth.
Handle & Store
-Keep your porcelain jewellery in a soft, padded box or a separate compartment to avoid contact with other harder jewellery that could cause scratches.
-Store in a cool, dry place, away from high humidity.
What to Avoid
-Abrasive scrubbers, harsh chemicals like toothpaste or sodas, or polishing agents.
-Extreme temperatures. Keep pieces away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
-Soaking in water, especially if it has been repaired or has a porous finish.
-Impact. While strong, porcelain is brittle. Avoid dropping it on hard surfaces.
-Direct contact with beauty products. Apply lotions, perfumes, and hairsprays before putting on your jewellery to prevent damage to the surface.
