Cotton | Care Advice

Clean & Maintain

-We highly recommend you evaluate the need to treat a particular stain versus a full plunge.
-If there is no deep stain we can consider warm water as this may help prevent bright or darker colours from fading.
-Pre-treat any stains with a stain remover before considering washing them by hand. However, if you feel you want to freshen up your pieces as well as if they are lightly soiled you can use a safe detergent for hand-washing.
-We recommend the use of gentle(bleach-free) stain remover brands that won't harm the fabric. It is always recommended to test the product first in this case in a less exposed area. Different fabrics as well as colours can react differently and we want to avoid colour fasting or weakening the fabric.
-Treat stains as quickly as possible to avoid permanent staining. Follow the stain remover instructions and for best results, let it work for at least 10 minutes before washing the garment. Depending on the stain it may need more.

Handle & Store

-Cotton is quite a durable fabric and can easily handle daily wear. To keep cotton in optimal condition, hang or lay on a clean dry surface to prevent wrinkling.
-Choose storage containers or bags made of natural materials and place them in cool, dry, and dark space.
-You can find natural repellants such as cedar balls and cedar oil to deter any house insects.

What to Avoid

-Humid environments.
-Exposing to fluctuating temperatures.
